A progression of traditional sketches I decided to do over the summer. The goal was to fall in love with sketching again, and I think it's already working. I will try to post consistently as I roll out more sketches.
Berries and rain drops
A very smug eagle
I combined a moth and a cat. I apologize for my abomination. Sometimes I have trouble choosing only one reference.
Fawn
A fun prompt from my friend's drawing group: combine a set of metal armor with a different texture. I combined mine with a snake's tongue and face. It came out kind of weird, but I think that's what I like about it.
Another apology for another abomination. I combined a human and two very strange but cool-looking bugs for this one. I promise it's a tail.
I had a lot of fun with this one. I think I'm getting more comfortable with rendering birds.

I was challenged to draw a horse butt. Apparently, I'm good at these.
My art supplies finally came in! It's been rough not having an eraser or way to sharpen my pencil. I've been sharpening with a small kitchen knife, haha.
